Edward J. Armbruster, P.E.
President

Co-Founder

Ed brings over 25 years of experience in water rights and water resources planning and management.  He is often called to serve as an expert witness in water litigation matters such as, water rights transfers, augmentation plan operations and management, hydrology, water supply and demand, and other water resource engineering issues.  He enjoys working closely with his clients to find creative solutions to complex water resource challenges.   

 

Ed has a passion for the historical background of water law matters and enjoys relating that to present-day situations.

Miranda C. Larsen-Funk, P.E.
Senior Project Manager

Co-Founder

Miranda began her career as a water resource engineer in 2002.  Much of her career has focused on water rights and water resources planning and management for clients in the South Platte and Arkansas river basins of Colorado. She has also worked in the Colorado, Gunnison, and Yampa river basins of Colorado, the Verde River Valley of Arizona, and the Rapid Creek basin of South Dakota.

Patrick is a staff engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineers with a focus in Water Resource Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder.  After graduating in 2017, he completed a year of municipal engineering for the City of Brighton Colorado's' Utilities Department.  Patrick began working with White Sands in October of 2018 and is excited to use his knowledge of water resource engineering to solve complex problems in water rights and water resource planning.

Jennifer L. Ashworth, P.E.
Senior Project Manager

Co-Founder

Jennifer started her career in water resource engineering in 1997.  She is passionate about water rights and enjoys sharing that excitement with her clients.  Most of her career has focused on assisting municipalities, special districts, and private water rights holders with their water resource planning and management needs.

 

In addition to having fun at work, Jennifer enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband, two boys, and two dogs.

Kelsey A. Haworth
Project Hydrologist

Kelsey is a hydrology professional with a Bachelor of Science in Watershed Science from Colorado State University. She has experience in substitute water supply plans, augmentation plans, change cases, water accounting, well rehabilitation, aquifer testing, and water quality sampling. Additionally, she is Past-President of the Colorado Groundwater Association for the 2018-2019 term. 

Joli A. Sajban
Office Manager

Joli has over 10 years experience in office management, customer service, marketing, website design, and word processing. She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies.
